About me

Music to grow, express, and connect

Hello! My name is Nicoli, and I’m a music educator with a degree from the University of São Paulo (USP), bringing over 12 years of experience in teaching piano and early childhood music education. Throughout my journey, I’ve discovered that music is a powerful tool for emotional, cognitive, and human development.

My mission is to offer music education that is accessible, warm, and effective — one that respects each student’s time, body, and unique way of learning.

A journey that began with the piano and today transforms lives

Originally from Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, I began studying piano at the age of 9. By 12, I had joined a conservatory, and at 17, I graduated in Classical Piano from the Villa-Lobos Music Conservatory.

In 2013, I was accepted into the piano class of Professor Dr Fátima Corvisier — a leading figure in piano education — and under her guidance, I completed my final research project in 2019 with top marks.

I began my professional path as a rehearsal pianist for early music classes, and soon after, fully embraced my role as a music educator. Since then, I’ve worked in social projects as a music teacher and choir conductor, always prioritising sensitivity and hands-on learning.

Music that welcomes, connects, and transforms guided by empathy, listening, and respect for individuality

Specialised and nurturing education for all kinds of childhoods

In recent years, I’ve taken further training to better support neurodivergent children with awareness and care. Today, my approach is inclusive and tailored to the needs of each learner — guided by empathy, active listening, and the transformative power of music.

Currently, I live in Ireland, where for the past two years I’ve been offering private piano and music lessons. I teach in either Portuguese or English, honouring cultural identity and building deep connections through music, language, and affection.
